Privacy and evidence handling

How Toolora Forensic Labs protects evidence files and lookup data.

Local file analysis

Images and PCAP files are read with browser APIs. They are not submitted to Toolora, stored in MySQL, or written to server storage.

Anonymous operations analytics

Image Digital Forensics may record allowlisted event, purpose, module, export, browser, device, duration, and source categories as daily aggregates. Source categories identify only broad entry points such as Toolora home, footer, category, related promotion, search, organic, or direct. Analytics does not record the referrer URL, image, filename, hash, metadata, GPS, finding, score, report content, IP address, or raw user agent.

Anonymous feedback

Feedback requests no name or email. Clarity and helpfulness choices plus an optional comment of up to 500 characters may be stored for product improvement.

Live lookups

TLS and IP tools send only the domain or IP address you explicitly enter. These values are used for the current lookup and are not stored as investigation history.

Reports

HTML, JSON, PNG, and print/PDF reports are generated by your browser and are not retained by Toolora. The original image is excluded by default and included only after explicit selection.

Toolora Forensic Labs
